Take a closer look! Join us in new ways!

We’re sure by now you’ve noticed the asthetic changes that have taken place here in the past couple of weeks.  With a new year, we took on a new look.  We’re pleased with the clean, simple look we have now.

But if you look deeper you’ll see more changes lying under the surface.  We have a handy calendar that not only shows moons and sabbats – but our own article submission deadlines.  As time goes on we’ll be adding more info and news to the calendar.

We also have some new sections up and looking for your input!  Some new weekly items that are there to help you and give you a chance to ask us!  Under the “Seeking Answers” section you’ll see two categories. “Ask the Oracle” gives you a chance to ask for a reading from one of our staff members. Right along with that is “Everyday solutions” for the more day to day questions such as what color candle to use or what herb is best.  We hope you’ll take advantage of these new sections and enjoy them!

You can also now submit your website or shop for our blogroll.  We plan to update twice a month, and it takes no time to submit your website! 

Last, but certainly not least, is our submissions and staff applications pages.  We are constantly looking for quality articles and staff to round out our magazine.  If you feel you have something to contribute but don’t want to join our permanent staff, don’t be shy, we’ll be happy to take a look!  We’re also happy to see creative works from our readers, from artwork to poems and short stories. 

And that’s just a glimpse into some of the new features coming up for The Modern Pagan!  We hope you’ll continue enjoying the changes and updates as they come – we have enjoyed being a part of the WWW for the past six months and look forward to the new year with great anticipation!
